Browse the Library →The Promptzio Builder is a guided form that assembles a structured AI prompt from your answers. Pick one of 42 task templates — cold email, blog post, React component, cover letter, marketing brief, product launch announcement, and more — and the form asks you four to ten questions specific to that task. The tone for the cold email. The audience for the blog post. The framework for the React component. As you fill in each field, the Builder writes the prompt live in the panel on the right, layering in role assignment, explicit constraints, and an output format spec. By the time you reach the last question, you have a fully-formed expert prompt ready to copy. There are no placeholders left to fill and no guessing about what the AI will do with it.
The Builder has two modes. Build a Prompt takes you from a blank page through a guided form to a finished prompt. Use this when you know the task you want done but are not sure how to phrase it. Improve Mine accepts a prompt you have already written — even a rough one-liner — and restructures it. We add the role assignment, the missing constraints, and the output format that turn a vague request into a precise instruction. Both modes produce something you can paste straight into ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini in one click using the “Try in ChatGPT” or “Try in Claude” buttons.
Once your prompt is built, three length variants are available below the output: Standard, Concise, and Detailed. Standard is the default — tight enough to paste into any chat without trimming, detailed enough to produce strong output. Concise strips the prompt down to the absolute essentials, useful when you want to test a single idea quickly. Detailed adds a chain-of-thought scaffold and explicit examples — heavier in tokens, but produces the most consistent output for high-stakes tasks like client deliverables or technical writing.
Every prompt you build is saved locally in your browser's history panel — so you can come back tomorrow, tweak it, and rebuild without starting from scratch. Each prompt also gets a shareable URL that encodes your form answers. Send the link to a teammate and they will see exactly the prompt you built, ready to copy. Nothing is stored on our servers; history and shared links live entirely in localStorage and the URL itself.
Do I need an account?
No. The Builder is fully free and does not require signup. History saves to your browser only.
Can I save prompts permanently?
Local history persists until you clear browser storage. For permanent saves, copy the share URL — it is a complete, self-contained link to the prompt.
Which AI models are supported?
Prompts are tested against ChatGPT (GPT-4), Claude (Sonnet/Opus), and Gemini. The “Try in” buttons currently open ChatGPT and Claude directly with your prompt pre-pasted.
Why does the prompt look long?
Long prompts produce better outputs. The Builder front-loads the AI with role, constraints, and format specs because that is what makes the difference between generic and great output.
Can I edit the generated prompt before copying?
Yes — click into the output panel and edit freely. Your edits are kept when you change variants or copy the prompt.
Be specific in your form answers — the more concrete you are about audience, tone, and intended use, the more useful the assembled prompt becomes. Vague answers produce vague prompts. If the AI's response misses on the first try, paste the response back and follow up with one specific instruction (“tighten the second paragraph” or “remove all jargon”) — iterating with the AI is almost always faster than rebuilding the prompt from scratch. And if you build something genuinely good, share the URL — it is the fastest way to put a great prompt in someone else's hands.
